CCEP Pilot Project
In March 2016, the NSW Government provided ‘in-principle’ approval for the CCEP and the capital investment to complete a number of initiatives up to end of Financial Year 2016/17. One key deliverable is completion of the Pilot Project in northern NSW.
The Pilot includes the design and construction of 25 sites to improve and extend the existing GRN radio coverage. These locations consist of existing GRN, Agency and private carrier co-location sites that will be refreshed or significantly upgraded ready for migration.
Importantly, the Pilot will test and identify improvements that will inform and guide the successful delivery of the state-wide program, including:
- delivery model and methodology
- processes and management systems, including governance
- technical specifications and design guidelines
- financial impacts in order to update conceptual design assumptions
- contractual and commercial arrangements.
